He’s back! Rev. Clinton and Debbie Parker have returned to Northside UMC. He is serving as a part-time interim pastor through June, 2017. In July a new pastor will be appointed and become full time pastor.
Clint was pastor 1985 – 1996 when the church held service in the Dennis Senior Center. Eventually the first phase of the present church building was constructed. From Northside he went on to serve the denomination and become a church consultant. Along the way he has taught in seminaries and travelled extensively. Finally before retiring in 2011 he pastored the First UMC in Chatham, MA.
“Returning to Northside has allowed me to reconnect with folks who have been in the congregation for years. And, I am meeting new friends too, says Rev. Parker. “This is still a very exciting, caring church family where there is a place for everyone. It’s great to be home again.”
