Change Making Change

Bring your loose change every 3rd Sunday and put it in the Noisy Bucket Offering!

Every month the change that is collected goes to a different Mission Committee project. Some are local projects, some are global.

Dimes, quarters and nickels saved in piggy banks during each month will be contributed to a new mission project selected each month.

For April, the Noisy Bucket/Change the World donations will go to Cape Abilities. This year is Cape Abilities is celebrating their 50th anniversary of providing services and support for people with disabilities on Cape Cod. Cape Abilities biggest fundraiser of the year is their annual Harbor Walk.

For several years now, Northside has sent a team of people to both walk the 2.2-mile route along Hyannis Harbor. We are looking for volunteers to be part of another team this year. Anyone interested can  go to the website to sign up and join a team: https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/Ability.

The Harbor Walk will take place on Saturday, May 18, at the Village Green in Hyannis. The walk starts at 10 a.m. Registration is $25 for adults and $50 for families. Afterwards there will be live entertainment, games and food samplings.

Cape Abilities is also looking for volunteers to hand out water bottles and t-shirts before the walk. Please let the office know if you are interested in volunteering.
